You know that was pretty funny how that their indecisiveness causes time to fast forward on those in the sidelines and as they exit the space they return to normal that’s a definite reminder that time is something you definitely don’t want to waste. And making decisions is never easy sometimes but once you learn the most important decision it starts getting easier

Zanji Suzunami • 1 year ago

It's also a good character showing that this worry wart race made him their leader since his final decisions are usually the right ones for success by the end.

Dollar store Za Warudo loses its cool turn skip effect and is now just a slightly amped Time Wizard

ThatMan666 • 1 year ago

Least it retains a coin flip effect.

Ascalibur • 1 year ago

Wow, Yuudias actually lost this one. And nice to see the rush duel version of Arcana Force the World! Did not expect that at all.

Huh? What do you mean, 'so much in one turn'? He doesn't know about real life YGO, what bliss that ignorance must be.

And Yuudias be like: I set up properly.

Against any other duelist in real life that 'set up' would mean instant death. Except they brick hard.

typeOU et co • 1 year ago

you are aware that this is rush duel right? It's litterally a different game. Hardly anyone could OTK you through that board in a rush duel IRL, no matter how godly their hand is

I facepalm through this whole episode 🤦‍♂️

Every Yu-Gi-Oh player knows the pain of the Yu-kids waiting endlessly for their opponent to actually make a play.

Also, love how the commander dude's monsters call back to not only the Arcana Force monsters but Time Wizard too.

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 1 year ago

Nishaw is one of those opponents you least want to face...the guy who makes you lose patience and end up punching in the face at the end of the duel for wasting your time with their indecision!

Kudo Kosta • 1 year ago

no one mention about parody card of Arcana Force?

Hoshimiya Eiji • 1 year ago

Ok but are we not gonna talk about the fact that Yuuhi and Yuamu just waited literal DECADES for the guy to make a choice ? You would think that after a week or two they would try a bit more to force him but nope they somehow waited years right there waiting

xdeltabitezx • 1 year ago

I think the chapter is a parody version on the Chinese Ranka legend, the Wang Zhi myth.

The story goes like this: a woodcutter named Wang Zhi discovers a cave where 2 immortals are playing Go, they are so good that he decides to watch the party until the end. However, he stays watching the game for so long that they end up spending years in the cave, and by the time he realizes it, he is already old and his ax has rusted. When he leaves the cave he discovers that several decades have passed, all his relatives have died and no one recognizes him in the town anymore.

In this parody, they changed the Go to Go-Rush (hahaha) and the cave to the "slowed time" space. The good thing is that Yuki and Yunna didn't get old for the rest of the show.

Depending on the version, sometimes the woodcutter manages to go back to the past using a magical object, I remember that in elementary school they told me this story with that variation of the ending, but I think it's not canon. Total is a children's story, so if the narrator wants to give it a nice ending, let him do it.

Its not even an Anime, its a cartoon bruh..
If you want the "In-Lore" answer, then why nobody throw him a rule book :P

Nero32 • 1 year ago

A (western) cartoon would be also called anime in Japan. So I'm not sure why you say cartoon as in some degrading way for Go Rush.

Nero32 • 1 year ago

I mean time went faster in that room and nobody really waited decades to have Nishaw make a decision. Maybe it were like 5 minutes in reality but in that room, years have passed.
So no wonder the twins didnt say anything earlier.

Hoshimiya Eiji • 1 year ago

He said “no matter how many ten years passes here in the real world it won’t be a minute” maybe I missed a dialogue but this is not saying the time goes faster in the realm at all. The time moves normally in the realm but in real time it is not even 1 minute so you can spend a literal decada there but it won’t be anything in the real world and not that it is not a decade there

Sovauthority • 1 year ago

So they're complaining on why a guy playing for his very first time, not knowing the rules, is taking a while to make a turn...
God, I miss the old-school YuGiOh. That last scene was the only good scene... This show KNOWS how to be good, it just CHOOSES NOT to be good...

Nero32 • 1 year ago

Obviously, throwing a rule book at Nishaw wouldn't fill almost the whole episode and it would also not teach him any lesson since it was Yudias' words that made him go "alright, I will decide myself now".

So, seeing Ranran on the ground was the best scene for you? Wow. Saying the last scene was best...
